    My name is Robert Durand and I am originally from South Florida. After graduating with two degrees from Florida State University, I decided to apply for a position with Proctor Acura because of the wonderful customer care that I received as a customer of the service department, and because I believe in the Acura product.

     

    Working with people can be very challenging, yet very satisfying at the same time. Most people have a preconceived idea that dealerships are full of individuals who are out to take advantage of them, but that is not the case with our dealership. I really enjoy welcoming new clients to our dealership, and introducing them to our cars. The quality, reliability, features and overall value of Acura?s vehicles is superior to that of any other manufacturer, and I like demonstrating this to new clients. I work hard to earn my client?s trust, and I believe in making the experience friendly.

     

    In my spare time I enjoy photography, visiting the local parks with my girlfriend, playing pool, and learning about new technologies. Tallahassee is a beautiful city, and there is a lot to do here. Life is good when you surround yourself family and good friends.

     My name is Tony Bellomio and I have been with Acura for over 17 years and have been acknowledged by Acura as a top performer in the southeast. I have recently achieved the ?Gold Master? of Sales designation for the 7th consecutive year. An Acura Gold level sales consultant must sell a higher volume of cars along with a CSI (customer satisfaction index) that must be over 97%. Once at a Gold level for three years, the distinction of Gold Master is awarded.  In the southeast, I am one of 3 sales consultants that have achieved Gold Master for 7 years or longer.


                        Of the numerous awards I have achieved, the one that I am most proud of is the TOP CLIENT SATISFACTION award for the entire southeast region in 2007. Of all the cars sold in 2007, my customers had the highest satisfaction. I was also honored to represent Proctor Acura with a winning performance at the national walk-around competition for the southeast.


                         I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in economics. After graduation I applied to Law school, however, I accepted a job opportunity as a stockbroker. When the two firms I worked for both went under, I lined up another job that required an insurance license. While applying for this license, I decided to sell cars. After my first week I had sold 6 cars, and as you can see, the rest is history.  In 1994 I was awarded the Top Salesperson for the southeast and won a 10 day all expense paid for trip to Hawaii.  That trip solidified my calling and belief in Acura.


                         On a personal note, I am married and have two boys, Nickolas (11 years old) and Landon (3 years old). I met my wife Shelby right here on the showroom floor when I sold her a new Acura Integra that I ending up paying for when Shelby went back to school to finish her B.A.. (I am glad I gave her a great deal!)  Some of my hobbies outside of work include football, poker,

    turkey hunting and fishing.

     

                          My business approach is to enjoy what I do with honesty and integrity. I have great appreciation for the fact that my customers have been very loyal to the brand, the dealership and to me personally.     My name is Thomas "Obie" Oberman. I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida but recently moved to Tallahassee in 2005 to attend Florida State University. I am currently a senior at FSU majoring in English with a minor in Business. I enjoy the diversity of thought represented at FSU in the English program and all of the beneficial business theories and knowledge I have learned over the past three years. I am looking forward to graduating in spring of 2009 and plan to continue my education for a Masters in Business Administration.

     

    During my free time I remain busy studying but I also take the time to enjoy baseball, paintball, shooting pool, whitewater rafting, our beautiful Tallahassee parks, cars and supporting our Florida State Seminoles. I often try to travel back home to Orlando to visit my friends and family which have greatly influenced and supported all of my decisions. Family and friendships are important in everyone?s life and I am no different, they have been the foundation and support throughout my whole life. I thank them for who I am and where I am today.

     

    I chose to work here because I am a life long Honda/Acura owner and I have had the privilege to learn first hand the reliability and quality present in all of their products. I started working for Proctor Acura about 3 years ago in July of 2005. I was instantly impressed with how the Proctor organization conducts business with a family-like environment and low pressure atmosphere. The level of customer satisfaction present at this dealership is a direct representation of the Proctors and its entire family-oriented staff. I look forward to continuing and growing my career with the Proctors and giving our clients the satisfaction that the Proctors have given to Tallahassee for 98 years.     I?d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is George Brown and I was born and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In 1977 I moved to Jacksonville, Florida with the hope it would be a great place to raise my children and to retire one day. I am married and have two children, Pamela and Christopher. My wife Linda works at JC Penny. My daughter Pamela is a Pharmacist at Walgreens, she and her husband Doug live in Raleigh, North Carolina. They have one daughter, Caroline, who is six years old. My son Christopher is a Chief in the U.S. Coast Guard. He and his wife Julie, live in Willington, North Carolina with my nine year old granddaughter Rachel. My grandchildren like to call me Papa Dee.

                I worked as a buyer for several retail chains. I started working for Standard Sales in Jacksonville, and those of you who have lived in Tallahassee for a long time may remember when Standard Sales sold their company to HJ Wilson, which took me to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. HJ Wilson was sold to Service Merchandise which later took me to Nashville, Tennessee. My wife and I wanted to move back to Florida, so I took a job with LLaria and Company in Miami and later, Brandsmart USA.

                We moved to Tallahassee in 1993 and I got a job with Tallahassee Ford where I continued to work until 2003 when I took a sales position with Proctor GM and later on Proctor Cadillac/Hummer. I have been certified to sell lines that include Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Pontiac, Hummer and Acura cars.

                As you can see I have an extensive automobile business background. I enjoy nothing more than seeing the smiling face of a customer driving away in their newly purchased car.
